Apple passa a suportar oficialmente o ODF

Apple LeopardA partir da versão 10.5 Leopard do Mac OS X (a ser lançada no próximo dia 26 de outbro) a Apple passará a oferecer suporte oficial ao padrão internacional ISO/IEC 26300:2006 - Open Document Format (ODF): “Take advantage of TextEdit support for the Word 2007 and OpenDocument formats for reading and writing.” Veja em Leopard feature list.

Como disse Simon Phipps, não se trata de algo que eles estejam divulgado com fanfarra mas é sem sombra de dúvida uma excelente notícia.

Definitivamente mais um bom motivo para fazer o upgrade de versão!
